Games featured this week on the Nintendo eShop include a return of LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the game based off the blockbuster film, for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Also featured in the game will be exclusive playable content to bridge that gap between Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Other games featured this week for only Nintendo 3DS are BOXBOXBOY!, a special demo of Monster Hunter Generations, The Battle Cats POP! and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma.
For the Virtual Console on Wii U, Nintendo Download has featured Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, where Mario and Bowser are unlikely allies forced to fight mutual enemies.
Discounts on Nintendo Download range from 20% to more than 70% off of regular prices. For Nintendo 3DS, there’s Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH! available until 8:59 a.m. PT July 21, and Epic Word Search Collection 2 available until 8:59 a.m. PT July 7. Both 25 percent off.
Until July 29 at 8:59 a.m., ZaciSa’s Last Stand for Wii U is discounted more than 70%. Other discounts can be found on the Nintendo eShop.
New DLC for the Wii U includes Telltale’s Minecraft: Story Mode. Players can continue the story with episodes 2-5, which are available for purchase. Players can also purchase a Season Pass to access all remaining episodes to the game series set in the world of Minecraft.
DLC for Nintendo 3DS include the “Link’s Awakening Pack” for Hyrule Warriors Legends, where players can fight as legendary heroes. New content from the DLC includes playable character Marin from The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, new weapons and maps, plus much more.
