The new rewards scheme works much the same as the old, with points being awarded for completing various actions, although this time there are two types available: Gold and Platinum points. Buying games will net you Gold points whereas everything else, like talking about games on social media and playing Miitomo, will earn you Platinum points Platinum points can be exchanged for various items. In addition to some free games, including Wii:U titles Donkey Kong Country Returns and New Super Luigi U, there are also a bunch of discounts available. Unlike it’s predecessor Club Nintendo however, it seems the prizes on offer are entirely digital, with no physical items as of yet.
